An exhibition under this title was organized by the Polish embassy in Madrid, Spain, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the restored Polish independence. Among the Polish women who changed the world honored by the exhibition, there is St. Faustina Kowalska. A lecture about her was provided in Madrid on this occasion by Fr. Marek Raczkiewicz, a professor at the Comillas University. A conference also took place in the historic city hall and was attended by Manuela Carmena, the mayor of Madrid, along with many members of the diplomacy (including the ambassadors of Germany, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Andorra, Malta, Macedonia and Hungary), representatives of the city and regional authorities and members of the local Polish diaspora. The speakers presented the silhouettes of seven outstanding Polish women: St. Faustina, Marie Curie-Skłodowska, Wisława Szymborska, Irena Sendler, Sofia Casanova Lutosławska, Wanda Rutkiewicz and Krystyna Skarbek.
