On September 9 (Saturday) the 15th Railway Workers’ National Pilgrimage will arrive at the Shrine of Divine Mercy. The celebrations will start at 9.30 am from a visitation of the St. John Paul II “Do not be afraid” Center, where the participants of the pilgrimage will pray near the relics of St. John Paul II. About 10 am, the pilgrims will proceed to the Shrine of Divine Mercy praying the rosary and contemplating on the Way of the Cross. The Eucharist, which will begin at 12 pm in the Basilica, will be celebrated by Archbishop of Krakow Marek Jędraszewski. The pilgrims will also visit the chapel with the miracle-famous image of Merciful Jesus and the tomb of St. Faustina, to whom they will entrust their personal intentions. The pilgrimage will end with prayer at the Hour of Mercy (3 pm) and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
