On September 8 (Saturday), the 16th National Railway Workers’ Pilgrimage will arrive at the Shrine in Krakow-Łagiewniki. It will begin at 10.00 am at the outdoor altar with an introduction by Fr. Ryszard Marciniak, entitled “God’s ways with Mary towards Polish independence”. At ca. 10.30 am, Way of the Cross will be celebrated in the outdoors, and then, at 12.00 pm, the central point of the pilgrimage: Holy Mass will be chaired by Archbishop Marek Jędraszewski, the Metropolitan Bishop of Krakow. The pilgrims will also visit the chapel with the grace-famous image of Merciful Jesus and the tomb of St. Faustina, to whom they will entrust their personal intentions. The pilgrimage will end with a prayer at the Hour of Mercy (3 pm) and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
